- Admission of Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate
- Passed HSC with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology/ Biology / Technical/ Vocational subjects.
- OPEN Category - At least 45 % marks for PCM (equivalent Subject group as noted above)
- Reserve Category / Persons with Disability candidates- At least 40 % marks for PCM (equivalent Subject group as noted above) in case of candidates
- Passed B.Sc. Degree from a Recognised University as defined by UGC and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only);
- Obtained score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority.
- Admission for J & K migrant Candidature candidates:
- Direct Admission to Second Year-Degree Course in Engineering (Lateral Entry):
- Passed Diploma Course in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) in appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology from an All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent
- Passed Bachelor Degree in the relevant field of Engineering and Technology from All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved institutions or equivalent
- Passed Bachelor Degree in the relevant course of Engineering and Technology as specified in the eligibility criteria for admission to a Post Graduate Degree course of the concerned University , with at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only.
- Obtained score in Graduates Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted by Indian Institute of Technology;
OR
- For sponsored candidates, minimum of two years of full time work experience in a registered firm/ company/ industry/ educational and/ or research institute/ any Government Department or Government Autonomous
Organization in the relevant field in which Admission is being sought.
- State Common Entrance Test Cell(CET-CELL) https://cetcell.mahacet.org has adopted the entrance examination MHT-CET conducted by Govt. of Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell &
JEE-Main conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSC), New Delhi ( www.cbse.nic.in, www.jeemain.nic.in) .
- Percentage of seats allotted to the candidates as per the Test taken Maharashtra State (MS) candidates-65% ,All India candidates-15% ,Institute Level for all candidates-20%.
- The schedule or Centralized Admission Process (CAP) is notified by CET Cell MS. After the CAP rounds, admissions at institute level/ vacant seats are done. However, candidates should contact the office immediately after declaration of HSC, MHT-CET and JEE-Main results.
